CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
The timber we offer is produced in our own facility in Sigulda, Latvia. The sawn timber is prepared in various sizes – width, thickness, and length. Some of the materials are further processed through drying, planing, and impregnation.
We also offer freshly sawn timber that has not been additionally processed.

Timber Classification Grades:
Timber is sorted into quality grades. The classification is based on mechanical strength, elasticity, density, and deformation limits and complies with defined parameters.
⚠️ C-grades are certified materials that ensure load-bearing capacity and stability and can be used in structural constructions. They are provided with the appropriate markings (for example, CE).
C24
Certified high-strength material intended for load-bearing structures.
Visual quality assessment: Sound knots are allowed, with minimal cracks; stable, relatively smooth surface.
Application: One of the most commonly used grades in construction. Suitable for heavier loads and more demanding projects such as roof structures, floor joists, and other critical timber frame elements where high load-bearing capacity and reliability are required.
C18
Certified high-strength material for auxiliary structures.
Visual quality assessment : Lower mechanical strength than C24. Larger knots, possible cracks, slightly uneven wood pattern.
Application : For buildings with lower loads, auxiliary rooms, internal walls. More economical, so it is often chosen in projects where budget is important, but reliable and durable wood is required.
2nd grade
Visual quality assessment : Many, variously sized branches, cracks, visual defects, possible fiber deviations, there may be irregularities.
Application : Suitable for greenhouses, fences, auxiliary structures, walkways where guaranteed load-bearing capacity is not required. Not classified by strength - not suitable for load-bearing structures, not tested according to EN 338 or equivalent standard.
Up to 5% of the purchased structural materials may not fully comply with the specified grade and its requirements (possible mechanical damage, loose knots, end cracks, rot, or insect damage).
